I went to my primary physician a couple of years ago, and he recommended me to the “group” sessions Kaiser Permanente offers. It has proved to be useless, and did not help me at all. I’m looking at other treatment options (individual psychotherapy/cognitive behavior therapy) outside my insurance…Will it cover at least some of it?

Hey hon…I struggle with an eating disorder also…I went to in out patient program…I got finical aid…but I know people there at treatment had insurance…and they call them everyday to make sure you are still covered and what not…they work really close to you about it…but you can call your insurance place and ask them, they can tell you for sure..how you can call the program and see if they take it? If you have any questions please free to e-mail me…take care and good luck…

I had a friend that had kaiser, she did that program too, but came to the program….Not sure where you live, so don’t know where to really guide you…hang in there
