Associates Degree–Associated with people who know things.
Bachelors Degree–Able to work independent and know nothing.
Masters Degree–Finally know something but not how to use it.
Phd–More of the same but Piled Higher & Deeper

    U Decide

You can work with developmentally challenged people in day programs, group homes, or outreach. From there you can go into management or even start your own group home or day program.

A psych degree is also an advantage in Sales, Office, and Retail. You will be promoted faster b/c of the competitive advantage of understanding human beh’r better.

With a B.A. in Psych. and related business experience, you can work independently as a management/business consultant.

You can’t do any kind of counseling or therapy with just a bachelor’s degree. You will be able to get a job in human resources, or other entry level jobs, but you really can’t get any “psychology” jobs. You could work in a therapist’s office as an assistant, receptionist, etc… but if you want to counsel people, do research, etc, you need at least a masters.

Master’s Degree is what you need.. I took a minor in Psychology! I also worked on Research in Behavior Study for like 3 years. I did want too further it but didn’t have the money or the time to finish it..
